Abstract | The authors examined forces influencing British Columbian home economics curriculum change between 1912 and 1985. They state that educational philosophy trends had the greatest impact, followed by political-legal decisions. The authors suggest that home economics professionals develop appropriate political skills to increase their influence over the home economics curriculum. (Author/CH) |
